Please note that this is a CASH ONLY restaurant. (They have a small sign inside the restaurant) and they do have an ATM incase you don't have cash on hand.
The food was great, we never made it inside because it was really packed and we're seated outside. We came on a Sunday morning and there were a Latin musicians playing for tips.
The menudo was delicious and we ordered birria as well, along with nacho asada.
The service was great, the waitress came by regularly to make sure we were taken care of. Over all great experience. -

The service was good Maria was attentive. It was my mothers bday and the food was so good I ate posole.We also ordered sopes burgers (kids of course) and enchilada best Part was inexpensive. Going back on the weekend to get birria. Only reason they don't get the last star is because it's cash only and there isn't a sign to show that at entrance. It was a hassle even though they have ATM.

Everything was amazing, fast service, spicy salsa, Thee Best Chile Relleno I've ever had. Fresh made gauc. I mean if you are in the mission district don't be scared to walk a little down the road to this Can't Miss Restaurant!! Absolute

Good solid, Mexican restaurant in my neighborhood. They've been in business in the Mission as long as I can remember. Bright open space with lots old Mexican movie start posters on the walls. Outdoor patio/parklet and sidewalk seating for those nice, sunny Mission days. The tortillas are made fresh in-house. It always seems to be busy for brunch on weekends.
I have the standards: enchiladas, relleno, tacos and soups and enjoy them all. Recently, I had the beef milianesa (breaded, fried beef cutlet) and it was a flavorful, crispy, non-greasy dish. They serve breakfast all day. -
I got the chorizo and eggs...Fantastic for a good Mexican breakfast or brunch; bring cash!

Went for Menudo during lunch time and found out they only have it on the weekends which is understandable. Had the Pazole and was extremely happy with the presentation when brought to my table. The Pazole was delicious and would recommend Gallardos for breakfast, lunch or dinner to all. Definitely will be back! Staff is extremely nice and friendly.
